DisplayCycle does not send your window contents or usage data to the developer or third parties.
Information processed on your Mac
To perform a display cycle, DisplayCycle temporarily reads the owning application, position, size, and visibility state of ordinary windows on the current macOS Space. This information is processed only in memory and is not transmitted off your Mac.
DisplayCycle does not capture screen pixels or request Screen Recording permission. Transitions use generated window silhouettes with application names and icons.
DisplayCycle does not save window titles or record what you type. Keyboard and mouse events are observed only when needed to recognize shortcuts that you explicitly configure. Shortcut settings, display order, aggregate transition timings, and a small local motion-quality estimate are stored on your Mac. These measurements contain no window contents, application names, or window titles.
Network access and third parties
DisplayCycle has no developer-operated server and does not include advertising, analytics, tracking, or third-party data-collection SDKs. Optional in-app purchases use Apple’s StoreKit. Apple handles the purchase connection and payment information; DisplayCycle receives the product and verified purchase status needed to unlock features.
Data retention and deletion
DisplayCycle stores only local preferences. You can remove those preferences by deleting the app’s data from macOS or uninstalling the app. The last undo record exists only in memory and disappears when the app quits or the display configuration changes.
